Website design for physiotherapists and private clinics
Physiotherapy website design that explains your treatments clearly, introduces your practitioners and makes booking or asking a question straightforward.
Why clinic websites need clarity and reassurance
Someone looking for a clinic is usually uncomfortable, a little worried, and unsure what an appointment actually involves. They're not comparing techniques — they're deciding whether this feels like a place they'd be comfortable walking into. Clinic websites often make that harder than it needs to be: treatment names with no explanation, no photographs of the practice, opening hours hidden away, and a booking link that only appears once. Clear wording and a calm, uncluttered layout tend to do more for enquiries than anything else.
What patients want to know before booking
Before someone books or picks up the phone, they're looking for a short list of practical things.
- Which treatments and services you offer, described simply
- Who the practitioners are and their background
- Where the clinic is, with parking and access information
- Opening hours and whether evening or weekend slots exist
- What actually happens at a first appointment
- Session lengths and prices, where you publish them
- An obvious way to book or ask a question

Who this is for
Physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, sports therapists and small private clinics — from a single practitioner renting a room to a clinic with several rooms and a team. If most of your bookings still come from word of mouth and you'd like your website to bring in some of its own, this is built for that.
Why clinics work directly with me
You deal with me from first message to launch day, which matters when every piece of health-related wording has to be checked by you before it goes live.
- One person designing, building and launching your site
- Fixed prices from £800 — you know the cost before we start
- A free homepage concept before you commit anything
- All clinical wording written or approved by you, never invented
- Care plans from £49/month, month-to-month, never locked in
A simple 3-step process
- 01
Free homepage concept
Tell me about your practice in a short call or message. I'll design a free homepage concept so you can see how your new site could look before committing to anything.
- 02
Build and refine
I build the full site around clarity, trust and enquiries — then we refine the wording, photographs and details together so it sounds like you.
- 03
Launch and support
Your website goes live on fast UK hosting, set up properly for Google and working smoothly on phones. Optional care plan from £49/month if you'd rather not manage it yourself.
Treatment and service pages
Each treatment you offer benefits from its own page or clearly separated section: what the session involves, how long it lasts, what to wear, and how many sessions people typically have. Descriptions stay factual and non-promissory — no claims about curing, preventing or guaranteeing an outcome — and all clinical wording is written or approved by you before publication. Practical detail is what reassures people, not bold statements.
Practitioner profiles
A photograph, a short background and the areas each practitioner focuses on makes a clinic feel human before anyone walks through the door. Patients often choose a specific person rather than a clinic, so giving each practitioner their own page — or at least their own card with a booking link — makes that choice easy.
Clinic locations and opening information
Address, a map, parking notes, nearest bus or train, step-free access and opening hours should all be visible without hunting. If you have more than one location, each gets its own page with its own hours and practitioners. This is dull information to write and one of the most-visited parts of any clinic website.
Explaining what happens at an appointment
A short walkthrough of a first visit removes most of the hesitation people feel: how long it lasts, what you'll ask them, what to wear, whether they need to bring anything, and what happens afterwards. For anyone who's never seen a physiotherapist or chiropractor before, this is often the section that turns a browser into a booking.
Booking systems and online scheduling
If you already use an online booking or practice-management system, the site links to it or embeds it wherever that's supported, with a visible 'Book an appointment' button on every page. If you'd rather take bookings by phone or through a form, that works just as well — the important thing is that there's one obvious next step rather than three competing ones.
Reviews and professional credentials
Genuine patient reviews are shown as they were given, and professional registrations, insurance and qualifications are displayed exactly as you supply them. I won't add a professional register or membership you haven't confirmed, and no regulatory status is implied anywhere on the site. All health-related and practitioner claims are yours to approve before launch.
Accessibility and mobile usability
A clinic site is often visited by people who are in discomfort, older, or using a phone one-handed. That makes readable type, strong colour contrast, generous tap targets, clear focus outlines for keyboard users and sensible heading structure genuinely important rather than a box-ticking exercise. Pages are built to work properly with screen readers and at larger text sizes.
Contact and enquiry forms
Plenty of people want to ask whether you can help before committing to a booking. A short enquiry form — name, contact details, what's bothering them and a preferred time to be contacted — gives them a low-pressure way in. Reception phone number and email stay visible in the header on every screen size.
