Removals Web Design

Website design for removals and man-and-van businesses

A removals website that answers the questions people actually ask — what you move, where you go, and how to get a quote — without a page of filler first.

Movers arrive with a list of questions

Someone booking a removal is usually mid-move, stressed and getting three quotes in one evening. They have a specific list running through their head, and if your website doesn't answer it they'll go to the one that does. Most removals sites lead with a paragraph about being family-run since 1998 and leave the practical questions — vehicle sizes, areas, packing, dates — buried or missing entirely.

The questions your website should answer

Answer these clearly and your quote requests arrive better informed and easier to price.

  • What types of move you take on
  • Which areas and distances you cover
  • Whether packing is available, if you offer it
  • Whether goods are insured, where that applies to you
  • What size vehicles and how many crew
  • How someone requests a quote
  • Whether you handle flats, offices or long-distance moves
  • What previous customers have said

What's included

Every page below is designed, built and launched by Joshua personally — no outsourcing, no surprises.

  • Your phone number and quote button visible straight away on a phone
  • Service categories for the move types you offer
  • Quote form with moving date, property size and both addresses
  • Areas covered section
  • Space for vehicle, van and team photographs
  • Reviews and feedback displayed properly
  • Insurance, packing and storage shown only if you offer them
  • Click-to-call and WhatsApp on every page
  • Fast-loading pages and sensible on-page SEO
  • Launch support — and you own the website

Who this is for

House removal businesses, office and commercial movers, man-and-van operators and small moving companies. Whether you run a single Luton van locally or three crews covering long-distance moves, the site is built around the jobs you want and stays honest about the ones you don't take.

Working directly with me

You talk to the person building the site, so the wording matches how you actually work rather than a generic removals template.

  • One person from concept to launch
  • Free homepage concept before committing
  • Fixed prices from £800
  • Usually live within 1–2 weeks
  • Care plan from £49/month, month-to-month
How it works

A simple 3-step process

  1. 01

    Free homepage concept

Tell me about your business in a short call or message. I'll design a free homepage concept so you can see exactly how your new site could look before committing to anything.

  2. 02

    Build and refine

I build the full site around clarity, trust and enquiries — then we refine the wording, photos and details together so it sounds like you.

  3. 03

    Launch and support

Your website goes live on fast UK hosting, set up properly for Google and working smoothly on phones. Optional care plan from £49/month if you'd rather not manage it yourself.

A hero section built for a phone

The top of the page carries three things: what you do, roughly where you do it, and two obvious actions — call now or get a quote. That's it. No slideshow, no long welcome paragraph. Someone comparing movers on their phone at nine in the evening should know within two seconds whether you're worth contacting.

Service categories that match how people search

House removals, flat and apartment moves, office and business relocations, single-item and man-and-van jobs, long-distance moves. Only the ones you actually do. Each gets a short honest description of what's involved and what's included, so nobody arrives at the quote stage expecting a service you've never offered.

Packing, storage and insurance — only where they apply

Some removals firms pack, some don't. Some have storage, most don't. Some carry goods-in-transit cover at particular levels. These are shown as your options, with your details, when you supply them. I won't add a packing service or an insurance claim to your website just because it looks good on a competitor's.

Quote forms with moving-date and property-size fields

The right fields turn a vague enquiry into something you can price: move date or rough window, property size, both postcodes, floor level and lift access, whether packing is wanted, and a note field for pianos, sheds and awkward extras. It stays short enough to fill in on a phone but saves you a chain of clarifying calls.

Areas covered

Say where you're based and how far you travel. If you take long-distance jobs at a different rate, say that too. Naming towns and regions helps local searches and stops you fielding enquiries three counties away that were never going to work.

Vehicles, team and reviews

Photographs of your vans, blankets, straps and crew do more for confidence than any wording. People want to see clean vehicles and a team that looks organised, because they're picturing their own furniture in the back. Alongside a handful of genuine reviews, that's usually enough to get the call.
